What I'm really disappointed with this time is the referees / the video proofs, especially since yesterday.
Take Peter Joppich for example. Lost in fencing against Yuki Ota despite three winning strikes, apparently as a revenge for the women's fencing. Even the trainers of the other teams couldn't understand the decision. Or Janine Berger – they actually "forgot" to subtract points for the competing Russian girl due to a penalty – missed bronze. Another athlete (I think it was a swimmer) had been disqualified before being awarded silver. Right now it's women's hockey – another goal not given – twice. I don't want to be polemic, but I just can't exclude some influence from the British media here. Maybe I'm just not aware of bad luck. Did you notice any similar decisions, because naturally I'm more familiar with the results of 'my' athletes?
Oh yeah, and Andy Murray was a blast! Also Usain Bolt. But the Africans were dominating that sport anyway.
